Home Learning ideas: Year 1  and Year 2

NEW!! Y1s - have a look at this 'eggstra' Easter Challenge. How many can you complete over the next few weeks? Please send in any work to the emails at the bottom of the page.

Remember to check out the 'Student Learning Links' tab on our home page for more activities.

1. What shapes can you find around your house? Are they 2D or 3D? Can you begin to describe the shape’s properties?
2. Write a book review for your favourite KS1 story time text or a book that you’ve read at home this week. What did you like about it? What was your favourite part? Who was your favourite character? Would you recommend it to a friend?
3. Choose something from inside your house or from your garden and sketch it using the different techniques you learnt in Art last half term.
4. Can you make a penguin animation in 2Animate in Purple Mash?
Have a look at the one Mrs Gibbons made, then check out your 2Dos to find the challenge.
